Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H camp - Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade
Replaced failed sand filter with 20 E-Z Treat Pods to treat the camps wastewater prior to discharge to Carroll Creek. Existing septic tank was cleaned and effluent filters were added to keep it in service as well as the ultraviolet disinfection unit and discharge pump. The existing sand filter was disinfected and removed. With the installation of the E-Z Treat System the HPDES permit was expanded to 13,100 gallons per day.
